Meet Anders, our persona!

Anders, 56, lives with his wife Kerstin and their two children in a quiet neighborhood in Enskede Gård, Stockholm. A TV host, musician, and actor, he is a calm, sensitive, independent, and confident person with a deep love for nature, animals, and history. He enjoys learning new things, preferably outdoor, and carries a genuine concern for the future of the planet. His curiosity and dedication to understanding the topics he works with shape both his professional and personal life. Music has always been central to him, reflected in the gentle, melodic Swedish songs he writes, which evoke a sense of nostalgia and light him up whenever he plays the guitar. The family spends much of their time together, often in their summer house in Värmland.

How do we create a bluetooth speaker for him?

We created a persona artifact board where the persona’s traits and skills were explained through symbolism using a selection of objects. Based on these objects, the artifacts, and the expressions they represented, we developed a semantic word scale that defined the expressive boundaries of the speaker. A moodboard and an expression board were then created, consisting of images of objects and environments that illustrated the expressions and words on the scale.

After that, a semantic analysis was conducted to highlight the connections between the expressions on the word scale and the images chosen for the expression board. Sketches inspired by these impressions were produced, leading to three concepts, of which one was selected as the final concept. The final concept was built in Alias and then transferred to Vred to generate realistic renderings that emphasized the speaker’s size and form.
